School-wide Positive Behavior Support is an approach to creating and maintaining safe and effective learning environments in schools. Designed to improve behavior and academic performance by teaching and reinforcing positive behavior, it uses data as a basis for determining the reasons for problem behavior and providing appropriate levels of support to address those behaviors.
The PBS process is a team-based approach that relies on a strong collaboration within our schools. All schools within the Recovery School District are actively participating in School-wide Positive Behavior Support.
